  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Which Linux Distribution goes best with Plesk?

Mathias

Basic Pleskian
Hello Community

I'd like to know which Linux Distribution is the best with Plesk. What experience did you make and where did errors or bugs occur? 3 years ago I installed Plesk Onyx on Ubuntu 16.05 LTS and noticed many bugs with fail2ban and the backup routine on an external FTP server and a few others bugs. Then I switched to Linux CentOS 7 and had a great experience. Now there is version 8 of CentOS and version 10 for Debian. Is Plesk running well on them?

Thanks for any answer and recommendations.

Greetings Mathias
