  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Windows Command Line problem

We're trying CLI on Windows Plesk 8.4 but it seems to ignore the domain template we've edited...

Here's our command...

"C:\Program Files\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin\domain" -c domain.net -clogin ic -ip 10.60.40.2 -status true -dns true -hosting true -hst_type phys -dns true -login myusername -passwd mypassword -cgi true -php true -hard_quota 0 -ssi false -perl true -webstat awstats -err_docs true -log_rotate true -log_bysize 9068 -log_compress true -mail_service true -dom_user true -du_passwd mypassword -du_pname "domain.net" -du_email my@email.com -aftp false

...this creates the domain, but we've edited the IP values and these aren't showing in the resulting domain. It instead ignores our specific IP values and puts the locla NAT'd IP address of the server (10.60.40.2) instead of the external IP we specified. If we create a domain through the control panel then it works fine and uses the values we put in ?
