• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Windows CP not syncing client login information with Expand

Snowmon

New Pleskian
Hi

We have multiple servers connected to our Expand CP, two of them being Windows machines, and two Linux.
The one Windows machine is currently having a strange issue. We create all clients through Expand Clients,
and these days whenever a new Expand client is created, and this client tries to 'login to domain' from Expand,
it gives an error saying:

Error The Plesk Server server has rejected the attempt to establish a session there. Contact your system administrator for support. The error was: Plesk Agent reported error, code = 1002: Unable to create DomainUser object: object ID is invalid

I found a fix though: just change the Expand client's login details.
I'd like to know why this works though. It seems like mismatched client IDs or something, but anyone who can shed some light on the matter (specifically, why it happens at all, and just one this one server) would make my day.

kind regards
