• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Wordpress Installations page boldly going in error after updating to WP 4.4

Basic Pleskian
Hello,

I have begun updating several websites to WP 4.4.

When doing so via the Plesk GUI, first I get a warning message, stating that they were problems while updating, but that it is done.

After that, when I refresh the "Wordpress Installations" GUI page, the updated website infos disappear, replaced by the infamous "/httpdocs" title, with as error comment "A WordPress installation was previously detected at this path, but it is not operating properly now."

Yet the WP is working fine on the website, and is completely up-to-date.

This is happening on several servers on mine, running with Plesk 12.0 as well as 12.5.

And it is also happening after updating directly from the website wp-admin page.

What is going on?
This integrated WP tool seems completely UNSTABLE!

Even after adding WP 4.4-132 to the Application Vault, nothing is changed, the errors remain...

Hello frg62 )

We are aware of this issue, and are working on a fix with a high priority. We aim to include a patch for the issue in the next Plesk update, due to be released next Monday, December 14th. See the following KB article for more information: https://kb.odin.com/en/127725.

Hope this helps )
