  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Wordpress Toolkit - Application Updated Email (Updates were not installed for the following items)

Receiving an 'Application Updates' email from the Wordpress Toolkit for a Wordpress website being hosted that states:

Updates were not installed for the following items:

1. Instance "{Website Name}" (https://domain.tld): WP-CLI command has not finished working in 60 seconds, so it was terminated. Usually this means that there are problems with WordPress instance #1 itself, for example it could be infected with malware. Check the wp-config.php file of the instance for potential malware code.

Not entirely sure what this is indicating. It's a rather alarming email that was also sent directly to the client (as subscriber for domain in Plesk).

The website contains no malware and updates fine.

Can anyone shed some light on where to fix the issue so this email stops being sent out?
 
How can you be so sure about that?

Because it is a brand new server build, a brand new website only just launched live built from the ground up and the server and website has been scanned for malware and any sign of infection. Security is top notch with everything hardened.

So, about that email message? :)
 
It is thinkable that the cpu load on the system is high during the maintenance. This could lead to an extended amount of time that is needed for processes to finish. This could be so long that the update cannot finish properly or at least not within an expected time. For your customers: In Tools & Settings > Plesk > Notifications you may want to uncheck the "customers" boxes. Most often customers cannot handle notifications, so it may be best to not mail them any. For yourself: It an update does not work in one night, it might in the next.

Strange, as there is absolutely loads of available spec on the server.

But anyway, I've unchecked the customer notifications as suggested which would be a good idea anyhow. Thanks.
