  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Wordpress Toolkit broken

Ninetienne

New Pleskian
Dear Plesk team,

Thanks for the great product. I've been using it for a couple of years already. I'm happy such a great feature as WP Toolkit has been recently introduces.

However I've been recently experiencing problems: several Wordpress installs appear under the same name, though they belong to different customers and subscriptions. In the list of Wordpress installs they have the same name and URL. I'm not sure why and when this bug occured, probably due to a recent Plesk update.

Please advise how I can fix this behavior. Thanks again for the great product.

It is really strange behaviour. Our developers can say nothing without investigation directly on your server. You can ask help from Support Team or send login credentials for your server to me in PM and developers will check it.

We will check it soon ad I will keep you updated with results of investigation.

Developers informed me that investigation still in progress.

Thanks for investigating the issue. I've disable the plugin for crossfitidol.ru, rescanned the server for WP installs from the WP toolkit, however the issue was not fixed for this site. It's still listed as wrongmag.ru.

Please advise in details how you managed to get the sites listed as themselves by deleting W3TC.

By the way, W3TC is one of the most used WP plugins in the world and its support is a must, I would say.

Sorry. Disabling plugin is not enough. You should completely remove it.

Could you please advise how you managed to get the WP installs listed as they should? As mentioned in my previous post, I did uninstall the plugin completely, but it didn't help. Thanks.

Hi, i got a similar issue! I have to manually refresh the content within the WordPress Toolkit and cannot scan for any WP installs or update them. a Week ago suddenly i couldn't carryout a clean install from my panel anymore? Strange...
However i have noticed that in the "Application Vault." under "My Apps" there is no apps? If i try to add WP via the "Application Catalog" it shows you the progress bar but nothing gets installed?

Need help with this as i carry out installs on a daily basis and find the "Auto Process" works so well!!! PS Love Plesk!

Have you checked your firewall? Try to disable it. I can't reproduce this issue on my test Plesk WebPro Edition.
If you need install WP in root dir of your site, select "Install (Custom)" type of WP installation on Applications tab and then specify the location where this web application should be installed.

Hello,
I had the same problem with duplicating names in WordPress toolkit, /W3 Total cache plugin is installed/.
It was strange that the problem begin to appear from several days in one of the sites.
At the beginning I was thinking that the server or database is hacked, but I saw that post.
The solution for me was to refresh the install from WordPress toolkit like in the attached screenshots.
The strange thing was that the problem begin to appear several days ago when I switched Page Cache in W3TC from Memcached to Disk:Enhanced.
So now I reverted back to Memcached again and after several days will inform whether the problem is solved.

Thanks for your response! The manual refresh indeed does the trick. I'm also using Disk:Enhanced for Page Cache, because it's much better, see http://surniaulula.com/2012/12/04/memcached-vs-disk-cache/

I hope that one day Parallels will support W3TC because it's one of the most widely used WP plugin ever with 900,000+(!!!) active installs over the world.

Plesk is great anyway, thanks!
