  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Wrong version in plesk backend after mariadb upgrade

Heppi75

Basic Pleskian
hi,

we made an upgrade from mariadb 5.5 to mariadb 10.1 on centos7. after the upgrade we also run the script:
mysql_upgrade -uadmin -p`< /etc/psa/.psa.shadow `

all is working fine except the wrong version is shown in the backend of plesk. there is always the old version 5.5.47 shown. in the phpmyadmin the correct version 10.1.x is shown?

how could this be fixed? where is plesk getting this version in the backend?

What is the version of mysql in Tools&Settings->Server Components?
Try to click Refresh button there.
