  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

www prefix not responding after 10.2 upgrade

NeuroPsyche

Regular Pleskian
I noticed that after I upgraded to 10.2 that my web sites no longer responded to: www

For example: http://www.<mydomain>.com
... no longer responded

... but...

http://<mydomain>.com
... responded

Something in the upgrade turned off the subdomain 'www'.
I remember in the old Plesk that this was a simple switch to turn on and off on domains.

Does anyone know where it is now located in Plesk 10.2?

Also, for those that upgraded, you may want to check your Plesk 10.2. I never thought of this until I got
some alerts from some services I subscribe to that monitor some of my sites. I got a response back from them
that the site was erroring out. It took me some time to figure this little quirk out but I now found out it's simply
the www that the sites no longer are responding to.

Thanks!
