• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

www redirects to default web site

WilliamH

Basic Pleskian
I have am using plesk 10.1.1 on a Windows 2003 standard edition server.

I have a domain that will redirect to the default website if there is a www in it. Without the www it goes to the correct website. I have already checked the host headers and DNS and they are correct.

What is even stranger is the domain alias works fine with both www and without it, but the main domain only works without the www.

Is the ip stored in plesk somewhere and somehow its overriding IIS?

So to summarize lets say the main domain is "domain.com". Typing this in the browser works:
domain.com

But this does not "www.domain.com"

Thank you

Please, has anyone figured this out yet?

I have the same issue and it's really beginning to frustrate me... :(

I am on Windows Server 2008 R2 running Plesk 10.2

A thousand thank yous in advance!
