  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

i noticed the following in my logs:

run-parts: /etc/cron.weekly/apt-xapian-index exited with return code 137

did quick google search and see its an Open Source Search Engine Library, would it be safe to remove this as below?

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge apt-xapian-index
sudo apt-get autoremove --purge

Hi Stephan Griesel,

first, pls. be informed, that you should always ADD your operating system, because when you ask questions, we can not guess, if you are using CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, or any other of the supported operating on your server.

IF you use a Debian/Ubuntu - based systems, simply use the commands:

apt-get purge PACKAGENAME && apt-get autoremove

... when you want to remove a package from your server and it's possible depending packages, which have been as well installed, during a package - installation ( and which now don't depend on other installed software on your server ). Nothing more, nothing less.
