• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello,

This is simply not enogh info.
You need to check the qmail files , permissions etc. Is the mail enabled fro the domains ?

If all are in place run mchk -v. If tehre are problems there it will throw some errors that will help you further.

imapd: /etc/courier-imap/shared/index: No such file or
directory

i found the problem if u cann't recive any emails check that the folder isn't currpted so fixing that should fix it

Hi,

I also got this in my maillog:
----------------------------------------
Jan 15 15:58:53 host imapd: /etc/courier-imap/shared/index: No such file or directory
----------------------------------------

What do yo mean by "fixing" the directory?!

On my host, the directory /etc/courier-imap/shared/ exists, but there's no index dir or file...

well really if you think of it index is the directory for shared folder there is no index file or directory just means shared folder must be currupted or not accessable by imap imap use's the shared folder when it sends recived and process's mail for users

webhost:/etc/courier-imap/shared# ls -a
. ..
webhost:/etc/courier-imap/shared#cd ..

webhost:/etc/courier-imap# ls -la

If you see in your logs:
Jun 4 16:11:18 ip-97-74-127-169 imapd: /etc/courier-imap/shared/index: No such file or directory

you need to check perms and ownership on /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue

# ls -la /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue
-r-s--x--x 1 root qmail 25828 Apr 26 15:20 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue
perms are fine, but ownership is not
# chown qmailq:qmail /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue
# ls -la /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue
-r-x--x--x 1 qmailq qmail 25828 Apr 26 15:20 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue
[root@ip-97-74-127-169 ~]# service qmail restart
Stopping : Starting qmail:
