  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Can someone explain what this is?

I've been using Plesk for over a year now. Overall, I'm happy with the way it works. However, I have one issue that I cannot figure out. There is a directory that takes on the following format:

C:\inetpub\vhosts\servers\99999\localuser\sampleuser\...

It looks like its a copy of files that are in the usual directories:

c:\inetpub\vhosts\domainname.com\httpdocs\...

Normally, it's not a problem, but I have some very large directories that take up 30 Gb of data and it seems to be duplicating. First, what is this? Second, can I turn it off?

Is that something Plesk does automatically, and if so, can I remove them or turn it off somehow?

Thanks. It's good to know that it's not duplicating.
