• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Pleskian
PRODUCT: Plesk Panel
VERSION: 10.4.4
OPERATING SYSTEM: MS Windows 2008 R2 Standard + SP1
ARCHITECTURE: x64 (running within VM; 2-cores / 8GB)

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION AND STEPS TO REPRODUCE
We create a new:
- Customer (nothing special);
- Service plan (fe.: Complete, but NO rights for DNS and Anonymous FTP Management);
- Subscription (newly created customer and service plan; Domain cust0001.local);

When the newly created customer logs in he still has the abillity to enable anonymous ftp and perform dns-management?

ACTUAL RESULT

EXPECTED RESULT
In my oppinion the customer should only see the options he/she has access to.

ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I also have windows 2008 R2 sp1 x64 and plesk 10.4.4 #21

I tested and everything works fine.

DNS zone management & Anonymous FTP management are not selected and user doesn't have access to those functions.

Are DNS zone management & Anonymous FTP management set to Off under permissions tab on that subscription?
