• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

The email system on my Plesk 8.0 (CentOS 4) server seemed to work fine until it went live. No emails seem to get lost in space. Nothing shows up in the spool files at /var/qmail/mailnames/xxx.com/user/Maildir/new, and this is what I see in the mail log when trying to send an email from a remote server:

Jun 21 02:18:00 dedicated relaylock: /var/qmail/bin/relaylock: mail from 64.191.93.88:44218 (64-191-93-88.hostnoc.net)

Wasn't using SPF and it was not happening on the other domain on the server. I did get it fixed. I removed the listing of the particular domain from some file in /var/qmail/control where the other (working) domain did not appear. This I believe fixed the problem. I do not remember which file it was exactly.
