• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

how do i troubleshoot poppassd?

we're having problem changing password from horde, we've already opened port 106 from window2003 server firewall, we can see that the poppassd service is running, but we keep on having this prompt from horde " Failure in changing password on poppassd server: No prompt returned from server. " any idea?

Please check your Parallels Plesk Panel version, for the issue you described was observed in Parallels Plesk Panel 7.6 for Windows. The following Knowledge Base article shows how to deal with it:

Thanks for the reply, i posted it in version 8.6 because that is what we're using.

The service is running in our windows2003 server

but the only responding telnet command is at port 8106 since my poppassd backend.php setting points to that port, when we try to change it to port 106 and restarted the poppassd service there are no response for port 106 even though the service is running and firewall opened port 106.
