  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How do I update the psadump utility?

Basic Pleskian
Stupid question, but I haven't been able to figure this one out - how can I update the psadump utility?

We're running plesk 7.5.4 on RH 9, and the psadump utility is still for version 7.0.x. I've looked through all the available RPMs for the bu package, but it's not available to me.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

PS - My plesk updater shows that the backup utilities are not installed, but the updater doesn't work correctly, so I can't upgrade this package through the updater.

The backup utilities are located in the /opt/ portion of the tar.gz that you download from Plesk. However, you can update the backup utilities through the Control Panel as well.. (Admin login -> Server -> Updater -> Plesk version -> Select "Backup Utilities", then "Update".
