  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Wild Card ssl setup

Does anyone know how to set up wildcard ssl certificates in Plesk 7.5?

I have a root domain with variations like the following.

domain1.rootdomain.com
domain2.rootdomain.com
domain3.rootdomain.com

Each of the rootdomains is set up as a separate domain. I would like to use a wildcard certificate to provide ssl for each of the domains.

Haven't found any documentation on setting it up yet, but am still looking.

Thanks

Does anyone know the answer to this? I have a client looking to use a wildcard certificate.

I posted the question back in Feb, 2005 and you are the first to respond. I would guess that there are very few that are worrying over the subject.

So, has anybody figured out wild card SSL on Plesk yet? Gee, it's only been a year later since the last person asked and nobody replied.

EDIT: It seems it just doesn't work in Plesk 7.5... but after upgrading to 8.1 we find that it does work. So, only solution seems to be to upgrade.
