I know similar questions have been asked here but I’ve not seen this exact scenario. I’m using Plesk 11.0.9 on CentOS 6.2.
I have multiple subdomains each setup as a unique "Subscription" in Plesk, all using the same shared IP. To clarify, clien1.domain.com, client2.domain.com each have separate Plesk accounts (subscriptions), both on a shared IP. I would like to use a wildcard SSL certificate and apply it to each of these subscriptions and any new subscriptions. I just want to make sure this is possible before purchasing a wildcard SSL cert. I’ve read the Pleak administrators guide and it is not clear to me if this scenario will work. Also, if it will work, would it be relying on SNI (Server Name Indication)?
Thank you!
